Design by Olivia-Emilia Marie Rocquemore

Olivia-Emilia grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where they discovered their knack for Fashion Design at Baltimore City Community College. In 2015, they graduated from Baltimore City Community College with an Associates Degree, before deciding to further their education in San Francisco at the Academy of Art University. While attending the Academy, Olivia-Emilia worked full-time in retail, which helped them understand the importance of the customer experience and the comfort, in terms of fit and fabric content.

At the Academy, they were also able to discover their love for technical design and the creation of bold silhouettes -- which lead them to understanding the importance of a proper fit, style, and construction.

After their studies at the Academy of Art University, Olivia-Emilia furthered their learning abroad In London at Kingston University. At Kingston, they had the opportunity to gain the confidence needed to better understand the technique behind an in-depth exploration of garment construction and textile manipulation.

In the year 2024, Olivia-Emilia has established themselves as a dedicated private tutor specializing in nurturing the creative talents of individuals seeking to enhance their skills of Garment Construction in Adobe Illustrator. Alongside empowering their students to build their proficiency in the software, they actively guides them in taking their initial steps towards a successful career in the competitive realm of the fashion industry.
